Ruckus Networks Appoints Gary Newbold as Vice President for Asia Pacific

Gary Newbold joins CommScope as VP for the Asia-Pacific region. He will be responsible for field operations, revenue and growth in the region.

Ruckus Networks (now part of CommScope via acquisition) welcomes Gary Newbold as vice president for the Asia-Pacific region. In this role, he will be responsible for field operations, revenue and growth in the region.

He will help us capitalize on the latest technology trends, including network convergence, ubiquitous mobility, Internet of Things and cloud.”

Based in Singapore, Gary will lead the Ruckus sales team and build on the company’s recent growth in the region, where customer experience and digital transformation are creating new opportunities.

Gary brings over 25 years of IT industry experience in both sales and management roles, having most recently led the Asia-Pacific region for Gigamon as vice president of sales. Prior to Gigamon, Gary spent six years at Extreme Networks in various sales management roles; he also served as country manager for 3Com in the UK and Europe.
